Johnston Public Safety Building

The Johnston Public Safety Building is a new facility on Merle Hay Road, north of the original City Hall building. The new facility houses departments for both police and fire departments including dispatch, a police holding facility, fire fighter training and more. The building will be Johnston’s Emergency Operations Center during times of crisis and natural disasters.

Constructed of brick, light-gauge metal framing, structural steel and glass, the Public Safety Building blends all the materials into a sleek, modern facility to run the City for many years to come.
